In today's film and television industry, the need for Latina actresses and Latino actors in Hollywood is greater than ever. Supporting, leading and feature roles calling for the portrayal of television reporters, anchors, and television hosts are available. But to date, more than 75% of all major production studios and companies cast abroad for starring and supporting roles in major motion pictures. A number of those roles require that speaking parts be performed in English, Spanish or both.

Unfortunately, many of those roles are filled by talent cast either from other states or countries. Does it really make sense to have a role for a Latina reporter cast in--say--Amsterdam, when right here in the L.A. area we are blessed with a wide variety of talented professionals? Of course not.

But things are about to change. Latinos4Movies.com has a vision: to provide for Hollywood's film and television industry a searchable database for such talent. Our objective is not only to promote both Latina and Latino talent and help place them on the international map via Hollywood, but also to provide a range of persons that bring not only their good looks, but a sense of professionalism and reality to any production as well.
